LOL Scotty yer pic looks like you have a hose connected to the foam. Perfect angle strikes again like that hitch ball jack handle thang.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

The last pic he posted everything looks right if the lines are going where I think they are.
Line is going from fpr to the vac tree, then it looks to go from the vac tree to the solenoid on the bbv then i cant see if he has that little one hooked up or not, then it goes to the vac cap on top of the blower.

OP if that was my car I would eliminate the stupid vac tree, block it off somehow, and route my vac lines like the 98+ cars

if the fpr is on a hidden line, yeah it does look right now.

maybe the bbv is bad? does that lever at the bottom of it move when you rev the engine?

Replace the solenoid as I am sure that is faulty if you got boost with it unhooked.

Yes Scotty it moves up when u fire the car over an when you Rev it it goes all the way down to the the lil set screw at the bottom the pops back up after you let off the throttle I dnt believe it's bad or it wouldn't be doing that would it? How much boost do you usually lose after installing a cam I kinda figured it'd b a lil bit since your holding that valves open just a bit longer

you have headers or a plog at least? 3.3 maybe to small for you with out a ic. ( or headers) most with a cam and running 93 gas with no ic just run a 3.4 and likely see around 8 to 10 psi.

Well get that new belt and see if it stops slipping. Usually you will hit full boost then the boost will drop as the belt starts to slip.

The Digital one shows full but the torque app an the mechanical gauge is only showing 5.0 to 5.5 psi I kinda figure the boost will go up hopefully quite a bit after the new belt gets here but idk I know the cam will drop it down sum was just curious about how much I should be looking for with the new belt an mods I really do appreciate all you guys help getting the whole vacuum situation worked out

That is pretty low for boost, I was making that on my headered ported blower bottom swapped car with a stock pulley.

So you have a digital gauge, a mechanical, and the torque app all measuring boost. I am guessing that the mechanical and map sensor are Teed into the same point. Where is your digital gauge tied into? And what is full boost on that gauge?

I wouldn't even bother looking at the lego block light show, it's pretty much useless.

Man GM is really inconsistent on what they do. I have now seen a GP with a bar graph boost gauge, a boost gauge (somewhere on this site), and no boost gauge at all.
