Ive done searches on this in the past and came up with nothing. Whats modifications are needed to run gen v rotors in a gen 3 case?

M112 rotors in a GenV case or bust.

Don't bother messing with the GenIII.

What we are trying to say is...There are no gains to be had by even trying to stuff Gen5 rotors in a Gen3...you will have the same output. If you are that committed get the entire Gen5 blower and stick it on.

...or judging by your signature...you will need to do what Blue posted to get what you want.

I don't care about your hood.

    It's your car.

    I don't drive it.

However, I'm giving you the advice you're asking about.

Don't waste your time with the swap that's turning the gears in your brain.

If you're going to swap anything, toss on the GenV, it's easy. I just got an adapter for like $50~.

That wasnt meant for you blueguy. based on the suggestions here, im just going to run the gen v. I was refering to the unnecessary comment that had nothing to do with the post. I do appreciate the input. Thank you

    I don't even know.

    I can't keep track anymore.

Anyways you do what you want to do...I just know I've been there and done that. At your mod level, I'd get some bigger injectors and run a 2.6" on that current GenIII and corn feed it. That'd be fun, too. And super simple.

You cannot mix Gen 3 and Gen 5 parts like that. They have a different bolt pattern and the rotor pack installs differently. You could use a Gen 5 snout on a M112 depending on which M112 case you could get. The Gen 5 is more closely related to the M112 than it is to the Gen 3. If I make it by my storage before they close I will pull a couple of M112 cases and a rotor pack to show you what the difference is.

I have a rotor pack that has the gen 5 rotor coating on it in my gen 3 supercharger. it works fine. it probably would have been cheaper to do the gen 5 swap. it didn't require anything special, it installed just like a regular rotor pack.

eaton is making the replacement rotor packs for gen 3 that have the coating. I ordered it from zzp, it came in a box sealed from eaton.
