My trans is running warm now that the warmer weather is here and i want to install my own cooler preferably with an electric fan. Anyone done this? Any advice or tips or dont forgets?

I'm in the same boat. I spoke to Dave at TEP, and he said that he can build a custom standalone cooler similar to the one he builds for the GXP guys. My lines leak, so a stand alone kit that replaces all of the stock cooling lines would work great for me. I doubt a fan is needed.

Seems a lil expensive i know its custom built but will it do any better than the one i found for $110 on google with a fan. Even if i dont need the fan its nice to have especially when im rodding on it

Hayden 1405 cheap and effective.
A pan drop/shift kit and cooler should cool it plenty enough.. A fans not needed if it gets the hot still... You have bigger problems to worry about.

Personal preference. The intense kit was amazing IMHO

I believe this is less aggressive than the intense but many have used this. Just look at the ratings.
Didnnt Dave use intense kits in his builds?
Fan is definitely not needed.
Temp said 86* outside today and highest trans temp I saw was around 180*. I am not even running standalone, I'm in series. If running stand alone it would be even cooler.
