    Would you guys put a head gasket on that? I cleaned the SC a bit and dont really care what it looks like. The head gasket area has been scraped with a razor blade (a good one) and since ive never done this alone before is it good enough.

    No, you need to get all of the gasket material off of it. The front looks to have soem gasket on it still, the back I can't really tell if its cleaned off good enough or not.

    That should clean off. You shouldn't see that grid pattern when its clean. I used carb cleaner and brass brush.
