Im thinking of using the GTP supercharged engine in my porsche 914.T
here are adapter plates to bolt to transmission.
    But curiosu
does the PCM control just the engine ?
If so i can just swap everything into my car and hit the key.

the pcm for a 3800 will do both engine and the tranny. my guess is you'll need a pcm set up like a off road buggy would use.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Right, controls both motor and transmission. No ABS, BCM stuff.

BUT, the pcm will go into limp mode/security mode sometimes because the computer does not see the PK3 ignition key. A tune could shut off the security system features.

Hmmmm, yes that seems right, or maybe a 5 speed PCM and theres no trans control to worry about...Did the GTP come 5 speed ?

that can be done. you'll need a tuned pcm for all that.

should be a interesting build for sure.
