    I was wondering where the red vac line goes in this diargam? I can have my fan on high, and i really dont feel anything coming out. Where does the vac line come into the car at?

    to the pas side firewall, down the fender, under the fuse box into a harness unto the car to a box.

    if you dont feel air blowing any where the fan or resistor is bad. that vac line is what power where the air blows from, def, vent, floor.

    The fan works fine. Im not getting any change from def, floor etc. So the red vac line is what i need to look at?

    its where to start. if the line is not broken, then you goona want to open up the glove box and the under the drivers side column, then car on, change the air flow, watch the round pumps in the dash, the arm in the middle moves up and down to change air flow. its got plastic linkage that breaks. theres one on both sides.

    if thats all ok, its the box the vac line leads too from under the hood, or the climate control its self.

    yes.


    theres been a number of threads where it was the box under the dash, or the climate control were bad.

    if you search around here for old threads, that boxes name and part # are listed. or grab one from a junk yard.
