Rare because no one fell for the high priced junk that you can get from the little guy cheaper and I'm sure better quality.

I would love to say I'm cheaper but with 2 gaskets and longer bolts I'm not much cheaper.

Definitely cheaper on a better full size intercooler!

What is a spacer? is it just a poor mans intercooler where it just allows the supercharger to sit higher and the phenolic just keeps heat transfer away?

Yes.

But doesn't dissipate temps near as much as an IC does.

1" spacers require fuel rails or injector spaces. If your going to the trouble I would recommend INTERCOOLING. My intercooler has 1-1/2 of phenolic.
