    Hey guys

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 193km

After 6 years of ownership the gasket has finally gave out... I'm on holidays for the next week so planning on attacking this job.

Just wondering how far I should go?

I'm planning upper/lower gasket and valve covers as they look alittle wet. Anything I'm missing I should do while its apart?

Would you agree felpro is a good way to go? It is 2nd generation with aluminum seals

    Thanks in advance

Fel pro are fine as long as they are the aluminum or steel replacement LIM gaskets.
I'd buy a set of the new aluminum coolant elbows to replace the plastic ones too while your at it.
If you're going to do VC gaskets aswell get new grommets for the bolt holes with the gaskets.

Make sure to use some thread sealant on the LIM bolts when reinstalling. Maybe replace the injector o-rings as well since you'll be pulling the fuel rail off and they're cheap.
For thine is the Cam, The Piston, and The Rod, Forever and ever (or until they break). Amen.

Get rid of Dex, flush the system fully and go with green.
