    Hi I'm new to this forum I just bought a 2000 GTP nice car low mil 92k but have developed this random stalling problem car cuts out while driving . Will restart after 3-4 times approx 20-40 min. Engine light comes on code PO440 Evap system .i think that maybe a non related problem . Any answers help I like the car but it's to unpredictable

    Sounds like a crank position sensor failure.

    if you noticed that the tach stopped working at any time, or if it quits worked right before the car stalls out, thats a crank sensor for sure.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...a-crank-sensor the how to. the standard bolts that come with most pullers dont fit right, the correct bolts are listed in that thread.
