Can anyone shed some light on my situation? It started with an engine light and traction control light and engine reduced power with the car shutting off after that. Got it coded and it read p1068, p2229, p1026. I changed both the map and barometric sensors and the maf sensor and changed the catalytic converter and cleaned the downstream O2 sensor. (Couldn't get to the upstream one) also got another throttle body and changed the fuel filter and I still get an engine reduced power and check engine and trac control lights still come on. I'm starting to run out of options and patience and wonder if anyone knows the problem. Rpm's skip and surge while at idle and in motion even stalls at times.

I also forgot to mention the fuel has been rather rich also. Like a quarter tank gone in 30-45 miles.

If you look up those codes, you see some short to ground. I'd look up the various stuff in a manual to see what voltage it's complaining about. Likely from the little I looked at.. you have a short in the wiring.

That makes sense. I'll check it. I was starting to think I needed a new pcm which I don't mind getting the zz performance one anyway

PCM issues aren't as common as ground issues. And you can unhook the pcm, then test those power wires for a short to ground. That'll help confirm what's up.

Dumb question, but have you cleaned and tightened both battery cables? I've seen corroded/loose cables do some strange things before. Even if they don't "look" corroded, I'd pop both off, clean the battery terms and cable ends real good and then tighten back up and see what you get.
