I changed out the pcv valve in my 97 gtp today. I used the correct oem replacement part #CV892C. I noticed there was no rubber o ring anywhere on the outside of the valve or in the hole where the pcv valve goes into and I read on other threads that people do have an o-ring there. I believe the original pcv valve was still in there as it said AC Rochester on it and had the same part number as my new one (this must of been way back before it was ac delco?), so the o ring would be there if there ever was one. Is it possible 97's don't come with an o ring?
My second ? is where can I find the gasket that sits right below the little black cover plate on top of the pcv valve? (the corners of mine ripped off a little on the outside edges of the 2 bolts upon removal but there is still a seal all around the pcv hole) I cant find it anywhere if someone has a part number that would be great.

Nevermind I re-examined it and upon closer inspection with a bright flashlight shining down the hole, the o-ring is in there its just pressed into the "reduction" part of the hole so well (where the pcv valve sits) and had oil residue on it that it was camouflaged pretty well. Now I just need to find a new gasket

For the PCV cover gasket, it might be easier to just get some gasket material and cut a couple of them for future reference.
