Anything listed as "Buick V6" or Turbo Buick V6" is for the older 3.8's.

Not compatible with our "late model" 3.8's.

Stocks are MORE than just fine for our cars. The OE-R's are fine too...if you can put up with the annoying lifter tick.

Why would there be lifter tick? I planned on running these.

Very stiff springs inside + the needed preload on them.

    They are pretty damn noisy.

I installed them in my new engine I built years ago, and after about 2K miles, I pulled them cause they were so loud. They are still sitting on my shelf in the garage, back in their original box. (with stickers too )

They work well...but just to damn noisy for me.

I bought a set of low mileage CompG lifters from ED and installed those.

Are the comp G lifters different in anyway? I'm guessing the Comp cam oe rollers would be just as good as those? I don't think I would like that noise myself.

LOL, no the CompG lifters are no different that any of the other ones you find in a Series II 3800. It just sounds cool to me, when I say it like that, as to what they were removed from.
