I'm going to be doing my gaskets ft & rear. This is a 99 gtp. my question is if I remove the left hand torque bar. When I take the mount off the engine. Will I need to mess with the tensioner or coolant elbows. I just want to be sure b4 I get in there. Thanks agine

SC belt tensioner and the cast iron bracket for the dog bone have to come off, the alternator bracket with the coolant elbows in it can be wiggled loose enough to get the valve cover off, but its a bit tricky.

It's a legit question. Some injectors run oil by them. So don't be a dick

if the fuel injector orings are bad, upper side will leak fuel, lower side will cause a vacuum leak. Fuel injectors have nothing to do with oil nor does oil run anywhere near them. If you have an oil leak near the injectors look at your valve cover gaskets, valve cover gromets or lim gaskets.

Ok dude, look obviously you don't read or u don't understand.

    1. If you read the above post you would have seen that I changed my cover gaskets & grommets
    2. If u knew anything about diesel engines like I do because that's what I do for a living everyday. I work on $300,000+ motor coaches. You would know that the injectors in most diesels use oil.
    3. This is my first car Ive owned other then all trucks. So I wasn't completely sure if the injectors on a car like this could leak any oil.

and 4. People come on here to ask questions and get good knowledgeable answers. Not some lame a$$'es comment.

    1. I gave you more things to look at than just VC Gaskets and gromets. Could be Lim gaskets, thats the only other thing that could leak oil in the area
    2. Good thing this isn't a diesel engine.

Why didn't u say that in the first place? That's what I'm getting at.

If it was a diesel it would be a lot better.

Like I said. Its not a diesel. And if you are such a wonderful mechanic, its pretty clear if you take a look at the injectors/rail and use common sense, and maybe even a quick google that gas engines only have fuel going through the injectors. Except for some very few direct inject engines. Which this is not.
