Mod wise I plan on doing..

    97-03 Grand prix gtp.

    Headers/DP
    180 tstat
    Cone filter intake
    Autolite 104's
    1.9 rockers
    3.29 gears
    "custom" overkill tune
and 3.3 pulley, Not sure of how much HP i'd be looking at? anything different i should do?
instead of 1.9 rockers for a minute i was thinking of an VS cam but it's going to be a daily ..
if anybody could help that would be super

The VS cam is a fantastic cam for daily use. A lot of people think of it as a wimpy cam, but the power comes on nice ad strong and stays pretty flat throughout the power band making it an excellent daily driver. I did a build that had that cam and a set of 1.7RR and it was one of my favorite all time setups next to Greg's DD turbo car.

would you perfer a cam over the 1.9 rockers?
the time frame to install a cam is a little longer but i'm gunna take it to intense in ohio to do it for me. price for the cam (including installation) is cheaper compared to rockers.
but rockers you keep that MPG and higher top end. but a cam is a hp gain throughout the whole powerband

I would definitely prefer a cam over the 1.9's. If you have the money, the VS is worth it and MPG won't suffer a bit with a proper tune...in fact you might even gain a couple.

Trans needs shift kit and service. And do maintenance stuffs...maybe F-body brakes too. Don't put all that in the engine. LOL

    This this this!

Obviously rockers are a easier install but the cam will give you more power. I went from 1.9 to the VS cam years ago and I'm happy. Great DD cam.. I didn't want a big cam that made it a pain to drive and sucked on MPG.

dont need a double with 105s id just use a new stocker. double requires a few mods. and start with a 3.4 pulley imo.

I'm not discounting the power made by the S1X...he want's a nice DD...I prefer the VS over the XP or S1X for DD status. Just my personal preference.
