The Cam bearings are, together with the timing chain tensioner pretty much the only real weak point in these motors....
After fitting a aftermarket cam I wouldn't say its "likely" to spin a cam bearing, but fitting a new cam to bearings which have worn to the old cam does increase the risk of spinning a cam bearing. Usually its no. 3 bearing that goes.... because of the lower oil pressure towards the rear of the motor.
But just be careful putting the cam in, use good assembly lube and maybe even get the cam isotropically superfinished (thats what I did) and it will probably be alright :)

DON NOT USE ARP LUBE
use a high quality assembly lube like lucas with molly
that arp "thread lubricant" is actually quite ****ing abrasive to the bearings

Who the heck ... wait, that's the only lube ZZP gives you.
Never use a bolt lube on a cam or any other engine assembly parts. It's something you should only use on bolts.

which is what angers me... it is the wrong lubricant... these are not flat tappet and even then it only goes on the lifter lobes and not the bearing journals

Yup if you read their useless mods guide they even contradict themselves by saying not to use things that they sell lol.
