I think the S1X cam from intense is right up your alley. Great cam for stock heads. Personally i'm going to run the xp cam but i'm using nitrous to take advantage of the exhaust duration on it. There's also the NIC from ZZP which is a crazy cam for non-i/c'd cars but it's really aggressive and not the best daily driver cam, not to mention you need a really experienced 3800 tuner to get it running correctly. That's just a little info i can throw your way.

i vote s1x as well. it's got a more usable powerband than the xp for street use.

i would love to go cammed again, but im not putting that kind of money into this car anymore. if i would, id either get a NIC or TEP. both mean, mean cams that you can run on stock heads.

The VS cam is better than stock for sure but it usually put on intercooled cars...a guy here is running mid 12's on a GenV and VS with no IC and headers...but is a tuning genius so who knows.

There's plenty of people running the VS cam, but I'm confused on what you're asking for. What cam are you trying to compare it to? Comp Cams Xtreme Energy is a style of lobe Comp makes, with a whole variety of lifts and durations available. IIRC, the VS cam uses an Xtreme Energy lobe on the intake side, and an Xtreme 4X4 lobe on the exhaust side. I believe Comp has put together some cams for the L67 with the Xtreme Energy lobes, but they had a few different ones available last I checked.

LOL, sure, because someone who just wants a mild daily driver needs an XPZ, right?

this might be a stupid question.. but what does the N/A mean next to the cam specs for the XPZ?

not sure what you mean...i dont even see where they published the specs, but i will tell you it is probably one of the best cams for an m90 setup. it is a smaller cam, which is shown with how you can run 1.7:1 rockers with it.

if i were to go with another cam i would go with something HUGE. something at least in the .575 area for both intake/exhaust lift.

It means Not Available, they don't give out the specs for it.

This is true, if your planning on getting head work done take a list of cams to your machinist and get your heads flown and tested. They can tell you what the best cam is for your heads and if you want to you can get a cam ground to your own specs for optimum performance
