This is going in a fiero so anything past the flex pipe isn't used from the kit. I'm running a speed density tune to the stock o2 isn't being used, so can I put my wideband in where the o2 would normally go?

Someone told me that it can't be too far away or too close as both will shorten the life of the sensor.

Speed density on a grand prix........ lol

But anyway, the o2 spot is fine. I run mine like 10in past the front o2 sensor and it's fine. Closer would be better but I just don't care enough.

As Five Finger eluded to, you sure you want to run speed density on it?? If you already have and it's working to your liking, then by all means. Everyone I have talked to though highly encourages MAF usage with these motors. Just a heads up!

Just started tuning sd, went through two mafs so while I was waiting on the warrantee one I switched over. I can feel the difference between the two, the sd is more responsive. Why is maf better?

There's no chance tuning SD is better on a 3800.

Why is that? For me I am at sea level and don't drive it in the winter
