On the site i talked to a tech about how i wanted it tuned and told him about the year specifics, so its tuned for specific top swaps ,injectors, and my tranny with it coded to my vin, its not just a pcm programmed to a regal gs, its a tuned pcm tuned for literally a top swapped 97 regal ls says on the sticker as well. So the tunes ok and the man that i stated above is gojo hes a technician whose dealt with these cars since 2000 and hes agreed to drive from wyoming to here to tune it for me and help with the problem as to when i have no clue. But by chance how do i use the torque pro app? Because before i downloaded the free version and it was showing my timing negative as well as my boost

Did you use the coil packs and icm from the riv? Maybe a coil or the icm is bad if it was from a high mile riv.

Boost will be negative on app as engine pulls vacuum when its not boosting up...im not sure on the timing...u need to set up the gm pids...its under settings..then manage extra pids...then u can moniter kr...are your fans both running when ac is on?

The coils are new except for 1, and the icm is from a stock grand prix gt that ran. The fans do turn on with the ac on. And my pcm turns the fans on at 185 ° as well

load your timing advance, long term fuel trims too with the T app. dont over load one page of your phone with gauges, the more loaded the slower they all react. so load you KR on a page all by its self, it will read much faster.
whats your elevation where you live? i see CO. that maybe the only reason you pull off the stock manifolds. if your up there in the thin air.
if your up in elevation, did zzp know this when they tuned the pcm? im pretty sure it matters. thin air is different then sea level air.

Is that at idle or wot? U should set up a a screen with trims, kr, boost, temp so we can get a better.look at whats happening..then.send some screen shots.

And u need the kr gauge on your screen. The knock test doesnt show you anything.

your cars ice cold, let it warm up then re test, the knock sensors dont work until the engine is like 160 degrees.
load that ltft gauge, the timing advance and figure out how to log and save your scans.

That was celcius dude, its at 190°.

How do i get to knock because theres no knock gauge only knock detector and thats the screen shot of it

Once you activate the extra pids in settings for gm, it will add knock retard to the list and u can put it on a screen

i was unable to see KR in my list, followed this post, added torque scan its a free add on for torque and it all worked fine.
