    ^lots of loctite was a ***** to get mine off from the factory ended up having this mobile mechanic come by with a 100 gallon air compressor and torching it to break the bolt loose.

    ive had real good luck with the starter trick....

    1998 grand prix gt 2 door

    I tried the pipe and leverage thing on a car when impact wasn't available, failed. If things are still hooked up.. I'm all about the starter trick. Just be careful because you can get hurt.

    Unhook the 7mm bolt holding the coil pack connector to the ICM. That will disable the motor from actually starting.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Ok I took the Icm off bill still no go.. one I my buddies said use the jack with rope on the breaker bar trick anybody heard of that?

    ive seen vids where people will rest the leverage end of the breaker bar on a jack stand, then crank the engine over. maybe hes talking about tying the bar to the jack stand so it cant jump off it?

    i used the floor jack handle all the time. i thought thats why it came off the jack all these years lol
