S/C engine runs 8.5:1 compression where a N/A runs 9.4:1
More power to be had from a top swapped N/A block with a smaller pulley if you do it right. If I have to do my engine again, I am going to put my cam in a N/A block and top swap it. You have to get someone that can tune very well and tell them you are a topswapped N/A block because the higher compression can make it a bomb if not done right.
Like Scotty said, top swap a N/A block and put a 4.0" supercharger pulley on it, or since you'll have it all apart, maybe cam it if you want and run headers and stiffer valvesprings and all the fun stuff that go with that =]
