So of course I am looking into adding HP and boost. Right now I have an open cone intake connected straight to my engine, no tubing. I also have a 180 tstat with holes drilled. I plan on getting colder spark plugs (do y'all have any suggestions?) put on soon as well. With these mods could I drop to a 3.5 pulley with a 1.0 ZZP PCM? Also is this the pulley kit I need or do I need to buy additional items? http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...ey-System.aspx

    Knock knock who's there..

Your piston that's what. So basically you have zero mods and you want to drop to a 3.5? It's going to take more then that.. Think exhaust mods like headers to run that and you better have something to scan with. You can't just throw on a smaller pulley and hope for the best.

Lol, I swear the supercharger coming with this engine in a way is such a bad thing. It's the first thing people want to do to their car. My engine has cam, headers, and intake, and I run a 3.4". I still see KR. Granted it's not tuned.

Usdmaf, if you have an Android phone you should download the Torque app. Then on Amazon buy an OBDII bluetooth plugin for your car. Once you do that, take the time to learn how to scan for knock and read other important gauges. After that, think about how far you want to go with your car. I would say if you want to drop to a 3.5" pulley and stay there, you could just buy a ZZP downpipe. With that I saw 0° of knock on a stock engine. But don't buy the downpipe if you plan on taking the car farther than the 3.5. I am camming my engine and just put headers on. My downpipe is now pointless.. lol

Best bet would be to buy the headers right away, you won't be disappointed. With headers and that tune you could probably drop to a 3.4 with next to no knock. But every engine is different. Read, read, read. Nothing beats knowledge
