    Ok guys I want my Gen V to scream more currently I have a 3.2 pulley on it but it doesnt scream as loud because I didnt put a air intake I just have 4 inch hose attached to the maf kinda like a fenderwell with the air intake my question is with me installing one on the maf will I get a maf code I got one before but I replaced the maf and the harness so should I do it?

    Uhhh what? You don't have a air filter on there?
    04 Top-swapped, 3.2 pulley, ZZP 1.9 rockers w/ #90 springs,Mild P&P heads, Pacesetter Headers, Sseilmnop 2" Phenolic Intercooler with stage 3 HE, ZZP billet fuel rails, 42.5lb injectors, 3" full exhaust, all poly mounts,other supporting mods.
    oh and weight addition mods: CTS-V brake upgrade, 14" GT500 rotors

    Thats what I have ...could I be fine if I put a 9 inch cone filter on the lq4 maf? Will I set a code? The filter is s spectre filter never been installed

    So you have no air filter? Just a hose into the fender?

    If you want more whine just do like a 22.5 or 45 off the TB then filter. I bet that long tube is suppressing the whine.

    I bet the dirt toasted your MAF maybe, especially with a FWI which is extra dirty. Try to clean it.

    Take the long tube off and put the filter on the maf now

    I also just noticed in the pic there's no belt on your supercharger pulley...

    Uhh, bolt the filter to MAF.

    Closer to the TB/MAF the filter is, the louder the S/C will whine.

    That's it.
