Hah, why not just sell the whole pipe? I sold my ZZP downpie (3 in. catted) for 220 and got my headers and flex for 280. Granted the pipe was NIB, but still, for 80$ more, I got nice flow from the exhaust port to the resonator .

Oh nice. I might go that route. Well crap... I bought the 2.5" downpipe with high flow cat when I first got my car =/

Could always gauge interest on it to see what it may go for. Worth a shot, right? If you can sell it for more than 90 dollars (assuming take the flex and sell the cat), you're saving money.

Interesting.. I could have sworn a lot of people were having leak problems with their flex pipes.

Well, apparently it was a waste of time for me to put a double wall flex on my pipe lol. Oh well, live and learn.

Waste of time? Not at all. Some don't have issues with the stock flexpipe others will. Personally I should of had mine changed out before I even put the headers on but me being cheap I said wth I'll be fine didn't take long until the flex starting ticking and leaking. Several guys have had the same issue as well that's why it's recommended to change it out from the get go and save yourself the trouble.
