ive only had my car a couple weeks now and its been running fine most of the time but rough too. it has a 3.4 pulley and the thermostat and plugs. i also have a short ram air intake. other than that the car is stock. i think i might have KR because sometimes at WOT it breaks up. but other times its fine. any suggestions? also i had it emission tested and i failed cuz it was too lean.

You have KR, that is too much pulley for such little mods. Get rid of the U bend atleast. But that wouldnt make it "break up" at WOT. Check your plugs, wires and 02 sensor, the 02 sensor will make it run lean as **** if its bad.

WHY IS EVERYONE SO OPPOSED TO DOING A COMPRESSION TEST TO TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEMS?

to little pulley, not enough mods.
chances are you do have KR, but KR wont manifest itself as "breaking up" at WOT.
does the car have Service Engine Soon light on?

just leave the pulley. add more mods to it and then youll be good.

you need someone to scan the car if you cant to really tell what is wrong. your description is fairly vague.

the breaking up at wot could be the pcm pulling timing because of the kr, mine n/a setup would do this when it was getting 5 to 7 degrees of kr but thank god i tuned it. car felt like it had a miss at wot then would come back alive and would do it again.

make sure you dont leave it like that, either bigger pulley or more modds to get rid of it.

on my emissions paper it says that the reason i failed was
P0102: mass or volume air flow circuit low input
P0113: intake air temperature curcuit high input
P0171: system too lean (Bank 1)

are any of these serious problems?

the codes that showed up at the emission place are:

P0102: Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
P0113: Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input
P0171: System Too Lean (Bank 1)

any help on fixing these problems? and are they serious?

You either have a bad MAF or bad wiring to it.
You either have a bad IAT sensor or bad wiring to it.

Fixing the MAF might make the lean condition go away.
