It looks like pacesetter copy cats and I know they had problems with the crossover sealing right. So my question is has anybody tried these headers? any sealing or alignment issues? Thanks

I got these headers on my car. I am not going to say they are the greatest, but, they are not bad. I don't have any sealing issues, but, there are a couple things to keep in mind:

1: You will lose the converter and this causes a pretty noticeable droning sound in the passenger compartment. May not bother you, but, I am turning into a cranky old fart and dislike it.

2: You will need to grind part of the transmission away for the crossover pipe.

3: Where the headers come together for the collector is my biggest gripe. Typical 3 bolt, 3" flange. The have a bolt lined up at the 12 O'clock position. It is a total pain getting a bolt in there good and tight. The O2 sensor and the heat shield make it even harder. It required stepping a 3/8" ratchet down to 1/4" with an adaptor, an extension and a wobble socket. In hind site, you may want to cut the flange, re-clock it and weld it back together for easy of access to all 3 bolts. I am thinking if it was rotated about 45 degrees or a little less in either direction would be fine.

As a plus, the down pipe does not have the humpty hump that some of the brand names do.....its more direct. Lowered cars may like this better than the name brand stuff.

Thanks, sounds like a lot of work but with the price tag its tempting, or I may just go with SD headers since I have no intention to lower. Why would I loose my resonator?

My apologies. Its not the resonator you lose with this setup, its the converter. I corrected my previous post.
