I can vouch for the racetronix kit. Not on the W body, but a different platform.

Funny this thread came up, because I was just thinking about it the other day and if the Casper GTP harness would be the same on the 04' Impala

Just did a fuel pump rewire on my indy for E85... Plugged it and and ran the wire to the grey fuel pump wire located at the underhood fusebox

So just an update for search history sake.

I couldn't get a straight answer from Racetronix as to which harness I would need to fit a 2004 Impala. I have the older square 4 pin plug, but they listed the newer flat 4 wire for my car.

Ended up buying the Casper harness for 97-03 and it fit just fine.

Have not re-tested fuel pressure, but for $50 it's a piece of mind upgrade if nothing else.

So I wired the kit up and now my car won't start. ZZP didn't provide enough wire to run it back to the fuel pump so I had to use some I had at the house.

Which is why I asked what path people were running. ZZP says there is exactly enough.

I wouldn't even mess with that ZZP kit. The Caspers and Racetronix both require no cutting. I had too much wire on the Casper kit, by a couple feet.

Ended up doing the Caspers Hotwire kit and it fit really nice! Did you guys use the fuel pump resistor?

Ok, so I'm looking at this rewire thing and I'm kind of shocked at how this is done. If you are going through all of the trouble in wiring the pump with larger gauge wire why is the factory fuse box being used? It just seems like a waste of time the way it should be wired is using the battery terminal connection into the fusebox. All you would need is:

1 ring terminal, Yellow with a 5/16" ring.
1 fuse holder with fuse 10 gauge or 12 gauge your choice.
about 8-10' of 12-10 gauge wire.
1 relay, preferably Bosch or Potter and Brumfield (or equivalent quality ISO relay)
1 relay socket (to make life easier) or a small package of 1/4" female spade connectors, fully insulated, heat shrinkable is my preference.
A small package of yellow self sealing butt connectors

Then it's just a matter of connecting everything together, just run the wiring as you would if you were adding an amplifier to the trunk, just under the car or following the wiring harness that already leads to the rear. Use the existing fuel pump to turn on the relay and run the larger power wire through the relay then to the pump. On 05'+ cars if you want to run the wiring inside the trunk then you are going to have to make an access panel in the trunk. I would recommend not running wiring straight through the aces panel without gaurding it against being damaged from loose objects in the trunk.
