I just started modding my 98 gtp. the only upgrade I have done is dual flowmaster mufflers with stock exhaust. I was wondering if I should go with the 3" zzp downpipe second or with the wizaired second upgrade. which will make the most hp gain. and will the wizaired help the fuel economy?

if you are limiting yourself to those two mods, then i vote downpipe.

either way you have to do both of them if you want to continue modding. if you want to save money buy the downpipe then make your own intake.

You can't go wrong with it. A sh*t ton of people have it with very few bad reviews.

take the money you were going to throw away on that wizaired and just get headers.
you will be happier and will make much more power.
and im sure you plan to run a smaller pulley later, you pretty much need headers these days to run smaller pulley's properly

ehhh its a matter of appearance if u ask me.You also have other companies that u can get intakes from.I have a Thrasher CAI....i like it and it looks good IMO,Then u can go fenderwell intake here http://www.grandprixforums.net/f49/t...take-6949.html
i have heard nothin but positive feedback on these.Or shop around for a cheaper CAI,they all do about the same thing.

I have the WizAired. After trying several other intake setups, I don't regret it at all. It's the best, period. 4" intake with very low restriction and ambient air temps (verified by IAT sensor and DIC readings). Take a long drive, and everything in the box is still cold while the entire engine bay is hot.

    Speaks for itself.

ANY intake is better than the stock one. whether you care about the air being ambient or not is up to you. i took an easier route that net me more flow than all intakes out there, even customs.

step one: buy cone filter from autozone
step two: shove cone filter on throttle body
step three: find somewhere to put the IAT sensor.
