Intercooler, heeders, pulley drop, ported sc and tb, cam or rockers. That should get ya started![]()
Is it possible to have a turbo and sc

how much power do you want? will you daily drive the car? or autocross? or drag? lots of different setups and this will be a fun thread but we need to know the purpose of the car first
oh yeah and this too

no budget, damn....turbo is the way to go for the most bang for your buck.
twin charged has been done too. pretty damn cool.
start looking up tranny parts, as the tranny is the weak link, the tranny alone will run you over 3 grand easy im sure. with a full rebuild.
Small to big this has what your looking for.

Has any one ever bord the block and put bigger pistons in it

There are stroker kits
Turbo, ethanol, ported heads, intercooler are big hp adders. Stroker kit is a lot of money for a little displacement. Stock bottom ends don't need modified to go turbo so you don't hear to much about then.

Can I sound like a douche and just say that if money is no real concern, why not get a different car that's loads better and takes better to mods?
Otherwise just turbo it and buy a $4,000 transmission for best of the best.
Should look in here.

G8 GT's and CTS-V's were I would be without a budget.
If money isn't an issue, find someone who is experienced in the 3800's and turbos (plenty on this forum) Hand them $10,000 and tell them you want a 10 second car.
