Thread: Car dies when starting in cold weather?

Im not doubting what you say im just not sure we are talking about the same sound

if you run it with no belt for a minute you'll know.

Will do this weekend. Shall I not drive her to be safe I mean id rather not have a pulley fly off and break sh*t

With SC belt off you can still hear the strange noise

Waterpump? alternator? Tensioner?

I also had the main serpentine belt off also pullies move freely with no play but the sound comes clearly from something ran on this belt
