I guess because its resistant to chemical, chipping, and hi-temps and ceramic is supposed to dissipate heat?? I may be wrong but that's what I though. I also had it laying around from when I painted the rotors on my Charger and also figured I try something different. Its not the end of the world if the S/C hold a bit more heat. I can scan and tune for that with HPT. I'm not trying to get every last drop of HP out of this car its my DD.

Was just wondering why you put a ceramic on it. As you say it won't be the end of the world when you're not looking for every bit of power, but ceramic does hold heat. They actually make coatings to dissipate heat, but they're a little harder to get. A ceramic I used on my other car I tested with a torch. I increased the temp of the pipe from 600 to over 1000 (temp gun doesn't read any higher) by using the ceramic. Besides the performance benefits, it lowered my underhood temps quite a bit from putting on the exhaust manifolds.
