So since I bought my car 6 years ago I have had a bad BBV. Until yesturday. I replaced it with one I had laying around. Ive always made 4 psi of boost. Now I make around 10. When I get towards 8 and 9 psi it starts stuttering and almost died once. Is my AFR off? Im not sure. I need to get the o2 bung welded in. Any ideas?

    Maybe its a misfire.

How old are the spark plugs??

Or maybe its even a coil pack or the ICM if indeed its a misfire.

Does it misfire worse the higher the boost builds?

If so then i would guess that it has to do with plugs, wires, coil packs, maybe ICM.

The more boost there is the more resistance there is to the spark jumping the plug gap. Maybe chack your plug gap

The plugs and wires are like 4 years old. Yes. The higher I am into boost the worst it gets. What should they be gapped to? If you had to choose what plugs and wires. Which do you think are the best? Do msd coils have a bad reputation?

Stock coils, ac delco wires and some copper 605's is what I would run.

MSd coils are known to cause problems down the line.

Who sells the copper 605's? I can't find them anywhere. And what would you recommend gapping them to?

Any napa or autozone should carry autolite copper plugs, I run a .055 gap.
