Anyone know if 98 3.8 camaro fuel rails will fit an L67?

I'm in the process of picking up an intercooler set up for my 99 regal, and I know I need something other than stock fuel rails to make it fit.
I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible, and I can't find any used modded fuel rails for sale on any of the forums.

I did manage to come across these camaro fuel rails on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/370993072934?lpid=82) however, and it looks like they might work. Though I have doubts since I know the NA 3.8 injectors go into the manifold and the L67 injectors go into the heads (vice versa? its been too long since I've done anything to a 3.8...).

Anybody got any info or insight?

i would think not. n/a vs supercharged, the sc engine the injectors are in the heads, and the n/a they are in the lim. and the mounting bolts need to be in the 4 corners.

pretty sure you can mod your stock rail so the top clears.

How would I go about modding my stock rails?

I don't have a welder (yet) and would be kind of iffy using any heat on fuel rails to be honest.

cut the lines, and use a flair tool to flair the lines and and use line nuts and fittings like a brake line would. add new tubes to fill in the cut to make the rail taller. depending on how big the ic is the line nut section along maybe long enough, so flair both sides of the cut line and bolt the block connection in place. theres gonna be some test fitting and measuring for sure.

you may even be able to re route them around the blower if your creative enough so they dont have to go over the top at all.

these are for brake lines, but they make them in a whole lot of sizes. you can rent of buy the flair tool. google for how to use a flair tool, theres a few different types out there they all do the same thing.

Oh man I didn't even think of compression fittings. I guess if they can hold up to brake line pressure they should definitely be able to hold up on a fuel line.

What about the rubber though? (there is rubber in a compression fitting isn't there?) Wouldn't the fuel degrade the rubber in the compression fittings?

i would try my best to re use the quick connects, if you cant you cant, run a line from the line under the car up to the rail. replacing the rubber line.

compression fittings would work. but for my own piece of mind id use a flair tool.

this has been my plan since i saw how much modded rails cost, or logs.

theres spacers too, they are one inch ive found so far, so if your ic is a 1 inch those wold be easy to install.
