why do you think S&S headers still work? they have a 2.5" downpipe. must be way too restrictive to work.
With my "XS" headers, I was able to snag the top whp for stock heads without I/C or squirting on the 1st dyno pull after my GenV swap a couple years ago.
Just saying, I haven't seen many non-TOG/SLP styles being put to the test beyond the bolt-on level.
