I am being to run out of ideas for mods for my car. Right now I have a zzp pcm, 3" dp, 3.5" pulley, wizaird, and a ported blower and rockers waiting for install. I am trying to save up for some headers and a tuner. What other mods should I look at in the mean time. The cheaper the better.

I would go for rockers. they are cheap and realy add some topend!!!!

get your headers and tuner and then decide where you want to go from there.

you can make an extremely fast rocker setup if you know how to tune right and make the best of what youve got, but a cam will always be a better choice if you want the most power out of it that you can get.

The rockers are in the mail already and the ported blower is sitting in my garage. I was just looking for some minor mods that I might have over looked.

You might want to look into a beefed up transmission.......

lame. if you really break transmissions that often then you dont know how to drive a car. i beat my car like it owes me money and im still on my stock 130k mile GT transmission. the last 20k were supercharged and modded.

    shifts great under any circumstances.

    Please...that was rediculous

Dave's transmission's are top notch and a upgraded transmission is the way to go in these cars. MOST are very weak and when power is thrown at them, such as a IC or Cam...the tranny starts to take a crap, like mine did. Hell a friend of mine had bolt-ons and "drove his car like it owed him money" and his broke with a 3.4" setup with supporting mods and stock rockers/cam/no IC...so...

I say...get headers, stick with buying that tuner, get a transmission from Dave, or a Full size IC...and if you don't have a TB on that list I say get the stocker ported or opt for a N* or LS1...Night and Day difference I can vouch for that

Condition of intake gaskets? Vacuum lines all original? TB gasket OE? Whens the last time you had an alignment performed? How old are your tires?

I have the intake off right now doing the gasket and installing rockers/ ported blower. The tires are in great shape. Alignment is good.

Well my wallet used to be thick. I am a senior in HS still, but go to college full time. So I still live at home and only have a tool/car loan to pay on. No rent or bills for me! That helps with the modding.

I take college classes threw high school. It is called tech prep. I am at college from 7:40-12 and have a writing class at hs from 2:30-3. Then work 4-8 or 10 about 6 days a week and pull a double every once in a while on the week end.
