    It can but I wouldn't expect the welds to be great and it to be leak free. There's not much room for you to weld the top of the flex. Take a hour out of your day and remove it.

    Cut my flex off and welded in 3" 45°. Didnt unbolt nothing or have problems getting it welded back on

    here red almost forgot so just took them. dont mind the no exhaust I cut it off a few days ago.

    Have to be careful where you cut, the pipe merge isnt very far from the flex pipe. But there is plenty of room to get a mig in there.
