    my 98 GTP is randomly stalling when I'm driving it's happened to me 3 times this week it just stops. I also had the tach die as I was driving down the road and the TCS light came on once I restarted it it was fine again.
    I've read this is most likely the crank shaft sensor is that correct?? if so how hard is it to replace?

    Its your CPS, its easy enough with a little research. I did it and im not mechanically inclined. There are a few vids, the toughest part most encounter is getting that crank bolt off. All I can say is youtube!

    sounds like a crank sensor to me too.
