    Where is the best line to tap into in order to install a vacuum/boost gauge on an L67?

    Right by the map sensor

    What I did was remove my MAP and flip it upside down. I put a T off the MAP, one end coming from the port under the supercharger snout and the other end going to my boost gauge. Flipping it seemed to make sense, easier access.. lol

    MAP sensor is located back side of the supercharger above the rear valve cover behind the EGR. Google it, should be pics..

    I tried googling it. But just like the sensor for sale comes up, none on the actual car.

    Put your hand under the SC snout. Got the vacuum line, good.. now..put a t into that anywhere and run your gauge hose to it.

    Quick, easy, done.

    Just an idea...

    Vacuum line off to the right of the map is going to my boost gauge.

    Vacuum for a stock motor should be around 20ish in/hg. Larger cams pull less vacuum, like my XP I see 15 in/hg... 10 or 11 seems LOW for vacuum at idle...

    I'll take a picture of my tapping into the line but I've done plenty of vacuum gauges before so it should work.

    It depends on what your gauge is reading. If you got a pound gauge, then 10 is about right. If it's in hg, then it should be nearly 20
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    If it's in HG then at idle it should be around 20ish. And after you've gotten off the accelerator it should dip lower then that, say 25ish, and back up to 20. When you stopped it looked like the gauge stopped at 10 and did not go any lower. (also the gauge is jerky in the vacuum area, seems to work smooth in the boost area) Might be a faulty gauge? I doubt you have a vacuum leak, you'd feel that...
