Does anyone recognize the manufacturer of this modular pulley system? It came on the car I measured it to be a 3.4'' pulley, but want to go back to a 3.8'' until i get some other supporting mods for this pulley size. But I can't seem to determine which manufacturer this one is to get a replacement that will fit the existing hub.

    Thanks,

    matt

ZZP or Intense. They both run the same hub.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't sure since I don't see any markings on it.

I don't have a good history on the car. Purchased it from an auction sight unseen. I believe there is a tune, as the fans stay on for a while after the car is off. What I think I am going to do for now is get a secondary computer and a 3.8 pulley and go back to that for now.

You could. If the fans stay on after car turned off then its tuned. To be honest first thing id do is get a scanner and scan for KR. If there is none or next to none is leave it alone and figure out if anything else is modded

I'm having some other issues, so for the time being, going back to stock I think may be best. Will those Bluetooth scanners and Torque Pro scan for KR? Also, the car does not have exhaust, and from what I have been reading a 3.4 doesn't play well without exhaust.

Yea torque pro will scan for KR and other things. And yea I see what ur talking about now. Stock stock all around would be good to go back to.

I do plan on doing some light mods to the car, but for now, I just need to get it running reliably.

I applaud you for understanding the need to go back to the stock pulley until you can mod further and scan for knock I wish other guys would listen instead of getting pulley happy and eventually blowing their s**t up then wondering what happened.

I'm in no hurry to go fast. I need reliability first. There will be time for more go fast goodies in the future. There's no sense in having a daily driver car that isn't reliable.

Well thought out! Grab a scan gauge or some way to scan for kr ( as thats the first thing to get before you touch the car). If your seeing 1* of kr or less just leave it. No harm done.

I would have just left the pulley, fixed whatever is wrong mechanically (if anything), get a tune up...get a way to scan it...and do some exhaust mods.

Probably would have been fine, as I'm sure it's just a canned PCM.

All, thanks for the inputs. I picked up a ZZP Modular 3.8'' Pulley on Ebay for $12 shipped. The 3.4'' that was on the car had no markings at all, still not sure what brand, but the ZZP fit perfect and is on the car. I just need to pick up a longer belt, as I couldn't get the existing belt on with the new pulley. I'll pick that up on my way home from work tomorrow.

Also installed the new gas pedal assembly. But again, with no S/C belt, I will test things out tomorrow.
