When looking for catback systems alot of them say they are for the older cars up to 03. is there any difference in catback systems older style vs 04+? mine is an 04 gp gtp so i just want to make sure what i order will fit. i know my headers said up to 03 but fit fine.

Just swap the mufflers if you want a different sound.
A catback isnt worth the extra money for zero difference in performance.

Like Cam said, the catback isn't restrictive.
Get some headers...and get some mufflers. That'd be all you need for noise. And you've addressed the flaw in the exhaust system: manifolds and downpipe.
