    Need to pick up a socket for the cam bolt is it a 28mm need to know asap
    01 GTP is3 cam 130 springs double roller 60lb injectors lq4 maf headers 4000 stall lowered
    sold 97 GTP stock
    Sold 2001 gp gt ssm90 plog dp 3.8 208 whp 265 at the crank 14.8 1/4

    I used an adjustable wrench.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.
    04 Comp G zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, bully flo heads, XP, zzp headers, fsic, thrasher shift kit, 60#, 2.6" corsa 2.5", Inferno hood
    01 gt z7 turbo tep trans zzp motor
    08 g8 gt cam exhaust 11.87@118

    I just threw away my original cam bolt so I cant tell you 100%.. but crank is 21mm and the cam is a few sizes bigger like 24mm, I think I ended up using a 1 or 1 1/16 socket that fit good enough.

    torquing stuff is not always needed. tight is all it needs to be. a dab of loctight goes a long way.

    A dab of locktite and pulled really hard on the wrench lol

    I use a 1 1/16 that I had laying around from something else. Convert it if you want the exact size.

    I tried torquing that bolt to spec. Had a buddy standing on the engine stand. I lifted him, the stand and the motor up onto two wheels. Now I zap it with the air gun. Fuggintight works great, that's the actual spec.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
