that or yes, JB weld has .... I don't want to say proven.... but the German JB Weld scientists JB welded a cracked block together and it worked perfectly...
i wouldnt trust JB weld on that. weld it if youre that worried.
JB weld has also been known to become dislodged from various places that people have put it and be sucked through the rotors and into the engine, which is no bueno.
i dont plan on going below 3.2"... and im on a very tight income and intercoolers seem to be a pretty penny. i dont intend to make a race car, just wanna be able to go to track and run mid 13's. i mean if i can get that with the 3.4" pulley, i'll just stick with it. and do you know the name of the stuff from napa bio? i have a napa in the closest town to me.
If your only looking for mid 13's, I'd look into getting some headers and rockers as your next mods. Oh and if that doesn't do it bust out the dremel :th_biggrin2:.
well im pretty young so i'm thinking a mid 13 second car is plenty. not many people near my age can afford anything to beat mid 13's so far everyone brags about this stang that ran a 13.6 =/ and im getting headers as my next mod. (like 3 weeks or so away from having enough money)
lol, im sure it will eventually. but since im on a limited income the bug can only bit so hard lol. my current goal is mid 13's and my long term goal is to beat my dads vette. might be a while lol. and what exactly are the powertuners for?
dude i just made a fwi with a k&n cone filter and shaved down some abs pipe to fit the filter which was from a f150 and now my car screams.
So these air slots in the Casing...where are they?? I looked over my S/C four times and could not find anything. It's all sealed up. Oh and just out of curiousity... If you advance the timing on these cars does it mess with the K/R?
the slots are on the underside of the supercharger going into the engine. you have to take the supercharger off to see them.
yes, more timeing equals more power which equals more heat which equals more KR. nothing a good tune cant take care of tho.
Here are the slots on mine.

Oh and about the timing, since every degree of KR pulls away 1* of timing raising the timing will only be beneficial if you have no KR at the commanded timing.
my slots are filled with an aluminum epoxy. im getting lazy over the winter so im not sure ill have it installed until spring or so.
ill keep everyone posted when that happens.
I'm supposed to be working on a blower now that's probably gonna be the loudest one I've ever done.....not by my request though.
It should be annoying at idle.
Sounds interesting, how are you going to make it louder?
By installing crickets under the hood...how else? :p
couple more gerbils on the wheel.
if you get a different blower what else do you have to replace? or nothing?
