Re: Where did my power go??
Damn man. So fixing the return line brought down the fuel pressure......
I noticed everything you have changed and I am at a loss....
Have you taken the negative off the battery since the drop in fuel pressure.....
What codes are you still getting......What are your O2's and are you getting any knock...
Everything I can think of you have already changed...
Just for the hell of it, pull the MAF and take a look at it and clean it with some intake cleaner.....
Re: Where did my power go??
I had the battery disconnected the whole time I was changing the line (3hours). When I went for a test drive, I was a little heavy with the pedal to see what codes would come up and I was back to getting the misfire code like I usually got when I would stay on the pedal while the car was hesitating.
I'll have to check what I'm getting on my O2's.
I looked at my MAF already and it didn't seemed clogged up but I'll try anything. I'll see about picking up some cleaner to see if that helps.
Re: Where did my power go??
try the resonator. actually, just make it easy on yourself and cut it out on your own and then go drive the car. it will be loud, but it will let you know if your resonator is clogged or not. you could also just unbolt the rear half of your catback and leave it at home for a 5 minute drive.

The resonator has a hole so either way it has to come out. I probably won't have a chance to work on it until this coming weekend. I'll keep you posted on any changes.
Re: Where did my power go??
Well I'm back at it again. I replaced my cat back with one I got from 99prixgt. It was his original stock exhaust. (Thanks again for the exhaust:th_thumbsup-wink:!) It definitely sounds a lot better than it did before and hopefully now I'll pass inspection but it still isn't running right. I still don't have the power I should have and bogging down on the highway is killing me!!:th_crying1:
After replacing the return fuel line, I got my fuel pressure back to specs (45psi) but it's still running rich and my mpg is still around 22mpg. A long time ago before I started having problems, I was getting around 29mpg.
For a quick run through, here's everything I replaced already:
Cat to exhaust tips
Plugs (twice)
Wires
Ignition module
Ignition Coils (All three)
Fuel filter (twice)
Air filter
Return fuel line
Fuel pressure regulator
The codes I have been getting were for MISFIRE and also RUNNING RICH.
I'm at a loss with where to look next. Could it be that the computer's program got f... up? Would it reset to default if the battery was unplugged for a certain length of time? I'm getting to a point I want to just get rid of the car but I'm sure I would get a lot more $ for it if it was running right.
Any suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.

Here's something I found that could help
http://www.aa1car.com/library/1999/cm69910.htm
it details the sensors and how they all work (and which can cause a rich condition)
