After I got my headers installed I'm getting the cel with the p0137 code. It says circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 2.

so this is the one after the cat in the downpipe? The cat was deleted and I thought that one was p0420, so idk what this could be. I order the o2 extension and the plugs weren't right for the rear on 04+ so I cut the plugs off n spliced them into the old set up. I made sure they were correct. There was 4 wires, a purple, a cream color, and 2 brown. I cut one brow short and one long so I made sure they were right. So idk if its something with the wires or what. Also my dad sprayed some pb blaster near the inside of the o2 n it may have gotten on it, so that's maybe my second guess. Any opinions what to do would help. Should I get a defouler or just get a new o2? I wanna make sure which o2 it is too. Thanks.

After doing some reading it looks like soldering is a no-no. I mean honestly I have never done it, so sorry D if I stepped over the line.

I would just buy the extension if it was me but i would think soldering would be better than butt connectors. I've never done either so i really don't know though

Soldering is a much better connection than crimp connectors.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah, if you google that code.. you'll find your answer can be a crappy connection, bad sensor..etc.

Has anyone here every actually soldered those O2 wires?

I ask, because I tried that once, found it mpossible!
Those wires are stainless coated or something and couldn't get the solder to take no matter what I did. Soldering of course is way better than crimp, especially since many people don't use the right crimp connectors. And yes, I know how to solder... Lolz.

But if you do it (crimp) correctly, it lasts well. On stranded wires exposed to elements like this, I'll put a little dialectric grease, crimp and heat shrink. Done!

Idk, but the PB blaster on the sensor could've fouled it, they're pretty sensitive.

I did successfully solder an O2 before. However it sucks majorly. The way to do the extension is to extend the factory harness side, not the O2 side. Those wires are normal and easy to solder

Lolz... Kewl! Yeah, I couldn't get the solder to take no matter what I did, major pita without a doubt. It was when I had a persistent P1133 code and thought the extension harness was bad, so I wanted to splice the O2 side on an extra sensor I had laying around for ****z n giggles.

Same code stayed, found problem a month later when I found lim leaking, lol... Ggggggrrrrrrrrrr!
All fixed now, code gone and O2 still extended, lmao! But I still have the extension for when O2 takes a holiday.
    : )
