Ok i just bought and put on a catback system from zzp and also got the 3in down pipe and the highflow cat and i even got the whisper resonator for those who know what that is and there is still a horrable drone in the car at about 1,800 rpm's and it drones all the way up to about 3,000 but worse at 1,800 even at slow speeds and on the highway any ideas on how to fix this? thanks btw the mufflers that come with their system are flowpro.

    Thanks

Maybe let it break in a bit. My exhaust was a bit louder the first month than it is now a 2.5 years later. I had a little drone that first month, but after that my Magnaflows broke in and now I have none.

Added a Whisper in my old car (Impala) after the exhaust I put on was way to loud and droney. I noticed a HUGE difference right away, much quieter and much less drone. The longer I had it on the car, the better the sound got, but when the car is real cold (especially in the winter) the exhaust was loud anyway...until it warmed up. Also, make sure there's no leaks -- I know some people who put on aftermarket exhaust and had problems with bent/warped flanges causing a leak and more noise.

id leave it... let it break in. the thing about me with exhausts is i like it to definitely be hearable, but with a nice tone also. not the overdone tin can sound you hear often today
