I have about 3 weeks into the build and now its time to finish it i still need to order some parts but want to get everything right so i will rather ask then mess something up.

Cam is installed, painted brackets and gen v supercharger, installed zzp mps with 3.4, 8 rib setup, 90 springs, N* and lq4 maf as well as adapter plate i have the lq4 maf adapter harness waiting for tps to arrive.

    some questions...

    1. Do i need to get a gtp radiator for my na 40th that will be having a l67?

    2. Is it better to use the iat that came with the car or the one built in to the LQ4 maf?

    3. From what i know this is what i need left LS retainers for springs, ZZP L67 swap Kit harness, and reusable rocker bolts will be ordering that stuff later today from zzp.

    4. Is 3.4 too small or too big of a pulley what other sizes should i buy before i get it tuned and have them with me to switch out? will be getting two tunes on two different pcm's E85 and 91oct

    5. Do i need adapters for my 65 deka injectors going on my Na 40th?

    6. Should i install the front slp header and crossover when i install the engine or once it is in there?

    7. What else am i missing or do i have everything?

Thanks in advance for the help i want to get her running soon just want to be careful on it.

Some pics of the things I have waiting for it. My main concen is the engine though.

Lined up when I did the swap

Also for some reason these two bolts do not want to bottom out that is the most I can get them in any idea why?

    3. okay
    4. Maybe
    5. Possibly
    6. I think your supposed to install the rear header first.
    7. No clue.

    1. No need
    2. Your choice. I used the one int eh Lq4
    3. What? yes you need modded retainers
    5. You don't tell us the year, we can't know the answer. However if you walk over to the car with an injector, you'll know quickly.
    6. Hopefully rear is in already. Put them on after the engine is in the bay and the rear is bolted up.

The bolt.. see that nipple on the end of it. That's a botl that holds the missing crank sensor to the timing cover. Remove that bolt and the other ...put your crank sensor on and retorque the bolts to 13ft lbs.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    1. Is the gtp radiator larger compared to the gt? is it worth it the switch?
    4. maybe??? too big or small?
    6. i should mention the engine is out of the car

rad is slightly larger IIRC.. although it's a gp. they likely didn't care and gave it the smallest, cheapest part possible.

    1. i was under the impression we needed a gtp radiator in that case ill keep my stock one on it.
    2. is the lq4 one more accurate?
    3. retainers and bolts as well as the L67 wiring kit from zzp is what i need as far as i can tell right now, since it will be going on my NA 2002 40Th anniversary gp.
    5. sorry thought i had it on here 2002 NA 40th gp
    6. i have the headers out right now nothing is installed besides the front and rear sway bars so far

Wow i completely forgot about that thanks Bill.

You aren't the first.. I had another buddy ask if he had the wrong bolts. We laughed about it over a few beers later on.

    2. How accurate is anything? Make your choice and go with it. Don't look back.
    3. Yup.. you are correct
    5. Nope..but you got it now
    6. put the rear one into the tunnel with teh flange laying on teh ps rack. Then after engine is in.. bolt it up. Then the crossover goes in place and front cinches it all down. See the header install thread I have for tips.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    2. Well I would like to use the one on the lq4 do you have a picture of how the connections go to add it on there this is the connector I have.

    3. Nice ill order the stuff right now.

    5. Thanks wanted to make sure it's a go with those

    6. Ok so drop rear header in first then engine then crossover and front header correct? Also what clamp is best to use on the links for the crossover front and rear ones I don't have them and what size are they 2.5?
