Take the hood off, bumper off, and lower rocker moulding. And depending on the side the washer fluid resivor also has to come off.

Remove the front bumper by removing the push pins near the hood latch and 1 bolt (think it's either a 10mm or 8mm) on each side, then pull the bumper forward to get it off. then to remove the fender there's a number of bolts around the area.. Where the fender and door meet, where the fender and hood meet, along the splash guards, and at the bottom of the fender near the jack point. Once those are removed the fender should just fall off and you can re-install and bolt on.

Should take about 1-2 hours, depending on condition of bolts.

Hood needs to be removed because the hinges are welded to the fenders

Sorry to piggyback on someone else's post but this seemed the most relevant for my situation. What if all you need to do is reposition the fender? whenever you open my passenger side door it pops because the door is slightly pinching or hitting the fender. not enough to do any damage to it, but annoying nonetheless. Just curious because the above statement said that the hinges for the hood were welded to the fender panel. so i just want to make sure that i am not going to screw up the alingment of my hood by moving the fender forward a minute bit. Any help is much appreciated

my door was hitting too, just last week, thought it was a dry hinge, but it kept on after lubing, so i watched the door hit the fender down low, with a open door and two bare hands i pulled the fender out a bit and the door clears now.

in your case, first id test the door hinges.

open the door all the way, then see if you can lift the door from the open end, if it moves up, thats your door hinges failing.
