    I managed to grab a '96-'99 N* off Ebay that came with the factory adapter for the 4.9. With some dremeling/epoxying/drilling/tapping, it bolted up and looks like it belongs there.

    I spent ~$50 for the TB/adapter/shipping, and probably ~$10 on epoxy, brass fitting, RTV, hose, bolts.
    I opted to use a 4" Ford MAF adapter from Spectre that I picked up for $10.

    In total, I spent ~$70 for the TB, adapter, and all of the other pieces necessary to make this work.

    The bottom two holes of the factory adapter piece will work, they just have to be elongated about .020". I have to drill some extra holes for the upper bolts to work (I've only done one of the upper holes, as of now). I removed the original 1/2" PCV pipe inlet, tapped the hole for 1/4" NPT, then added a 3/8" brass barbed fitting. I simply put a hose from the PCV fitting on the blower to the new brass fitting. Functional PCV, stock look!

    I just need to get my hands on a pulley puller so I can get this blower on my car!

    I'm not sure if anyone has tried this before, but it is easy to do and the pieces are pretty easy/cheap to get a hold of on eBay. Since I haven't mounted it on my car yet, I'm not sure how everything will fit as far as clearance goes, but I'll find out soon.

    I'm also considering using the coolant pipes and tapping into my intercooler to possibly help keep the TB from heating up as much from the exhaust crossover.

    That's what I'm afraid of. It will turn upside down, but I'll have to block the PCV inlet and find a different routing for it. Also, it will put the cables closer to the exhaust, and my idea of using the coolant pipes to help counteract the exhaust heat won't work. I will try it like this and see what comes of it.

    Using my very precise, broken hacksaw blade as a measuring device, it looks like the throttle bracket will sit about 1" higher than highest spot on my gen3. All should be well!

    BTW hacksaw blade is a weak unsubstantiated tool for measuring.

    I checked to see if my IC would clear by putting a stouffers french bread pizza (in box) on top and closing the hood. It measured about the same.

    That night I ate uncrushed pizza bread for dinner.

    So... I got the GenV put on tonight. I ended up having to turn the TB and adapter upside down. An additional 1/2" of hood clearance and it would have worked the way I had intended. So, for future reference, it's do-able! The way it is pictured will work without an I/C, but even with the SSIC, the TB has to be flipped. Now, I just have to extend my IACV harness and get my tune ironed out.

    P.S. The GenV whines soooooo nicely.

    Yeah...they sure do! Glad it worked out..

    W body hood clearance is just not there. You want all the room in the world, the 96-99 Bonneville was the way to go. Want to fit a few extra engines.....get a PA ultra

    I'm still considering the bfh and a custom hood bump just to get the TB right-side up, but I'll rock the upside-down madness for now.

    Once I get my IAC wires extended and some other little things tidied up, I'll snap a few pics of the engine bay.
