Ive done a fair bit of research on this before.... havent done it myself. But the majority of reports were that the VS cam is best for daily driving.... apparently it only shifts your power band higher very slightly, and a good amount more power... when I cam mine thats the one I'll be using.

If you want a small cam, get rockers.

I daily drive with my XP, I like the looks I get at redlights (people double take and are like ...LOL) gotten several smiles so far and people say it hits a nice lick at idle.. but it all depends on what YOU want though. Explicit is right, small cam just rocker upgrade and done. IF you want to cam and have streetable smooth ride VS is nice. The XP cam is a beast on the highway but I can feel it at idle at red lights...

I have DD'd my s1x for a year now and love it to death. Good idle, gas mileage, and great power for what it is.

VS cam here wanted something DD friendly and didn't want to go all out.

I DD'd an S1X and with the idle bumped a touch, you'd hardly know it was cammed. XP idles smoother than S1X with the same 100rpm idle bump. Both make great DD cams just like the VS.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
