where the drivers side axle slips in to the trans it has slop. i can grab the axle and move it up and down. is the trans dust or is a bearing worn? has this happen to ant one else?

If its shaking on acceleration only and goes away once let off, then you have a bad axle.

The insides of the axle could be broken and causing the play.

the axle splines should move very little when inserted into the trans... are you lowered because lowering causes axle geometry changes and vibrations under acceleration

i dont want to scare you but id take it to a shop for a more in depth analysis... especially if it does it with a new axle, because i dont remember ever having any movement in the trans last time i changed mine
