    Depends on what you want.

    VS is better at DDing.

VS cam is better for the street.

XP is great for top end power, which our cars fail at.

While the VS is good for down low power (Acceleration)

What kind of car are you trying to make your 3800 car out of? It depends on what you want, and how you drive the car. If its alot of 10-55 mph roads/travel you do and just using it for a daily driving car and want some more punch, go for the VS. If you want to top out your car with alot of top end power at higher speeds say for going to the strip or being an idiot on the highway, get the XP or S1X. Depends on your conditions.

who cares, you're not going to make balls out power with either of them.

pick one and do all the other stuff that goes along with it. you have to rev the XP more, which most people don't do.

both of the cams are gonna needs new valve springs and while youre doing that youll probably do seals and locks (unless yours are really new).

that being said both cams are going to make similar power compared to one another, the XP you'll have to rev it out a little more to get more power out of it. since most people don't push past 6200 ish on their tunes anyway the XP isn't going to show huge gains over what the VS will.

so, pick one and get it over with. the XP will sound cooler than the VS, though.

I have a VS cam in my Regal, its a good street cam! I much prefer the sound of a XP cam though.. I am using a XP cam with 105 springs etc in my Fiero build.
